Need help with neutral greige!

I was set on painting our whole house in the popular SW Agreeable gray, but when I got the samples today, it looks too purple-ish (left), and the SW Repose (right) looks to blue to me and my hubs. We have painters coming next week and want a neutral greige for re-sell! Any advice?! Thank you!!

Agree w esmer301, SW accessible beige is what I have, and it goes and blends with everything. Gray walls are on the way out.

Just to ask -- will there be much red/burgundy in the house then? how much wood?

Painting all our trim either Extra white for Pure white, and restaining the floors to be 1 part dark walnut and 2 parts classic gray to take the red out. Looking for a wall color to compliment. I don’t want too beige-y though, which is why I didn’t pickup the Accessible beige sample, but will try it today.

Another one that is really lovely is Modern Gray ( SW) . It's a real beigey gray.

Another vote for Accessible Beige, although we have ours @ 50%.

Your yellow leaning walls are affecting your perception of the samples.

Get a sheet of plain white poster board and place it behind the samples and take another look during the daytime.

I have not moved or changed your paint samples. Just surround them with white. See the difference?

Beverly’s picture is a good one for showing another idea: leaving your trim and floors as is and painting your walls with a warm, creamy white. I know we’re just seeing a small snippet of your house, but I really like how it looks with the trim color and flooring. Fresh and bright, and a lot less work and expense.

Sorry o missed these comments! I didn’t get notified for some reason! I had another person suggest 50%worldly gray, and was planning on getting a sample of it yesterday, but our sw store is currently out of samples. He said that the surrounding stores nearby are also out, and a lot of ppl are on hold with their painting projects because of it. The painters are supposed to start ours a week from today, too! I might just go with Agreeable gray, since it has looked good in all pics I’ve seen of it. Hopefully it will look just as good once we get ours painted?! I did have a friend send me pics of her 50% Accessible beige, but it still looked too beige-y to me. We were also planning up putting quarts counters in with the white and gray, so didn’t want that to clash either. Mainly looking for a great very light gray/beige, greige that doesn’t read purple or too blue. Thanks everyone!

For re-sale I'd use a much lighter color instead. Look for a neutral white. Gray doesn't always work with your golden floors, and gray doesn't update a space all on it's own. No one will object to a brighter neutral white. Try SW Shoji White. It's not yellow, not gray, and not beige, but just a soft neutral white with a touch of color.

Our Habitat for Humanity restore always has tons of SW and BM paint samples, you might try there if you have one near you.
