Any individual thread that lacks a pic or has obscure wording can take off on a tangent with a few such names but I don’t recall a thread dedicated to them.

@linaria_gw I remember that thread too, but I *don't* remember if it was a dedicated thread or one that just took off on a tangent. I specifically remember the blurred tree photo probably taken at 70 mph, and the pic of a lone tree about a quarter of a mile away, lol. I'll try to find it, but it's been quite a while since it was posted. Pre-covid, I'm fairly certain. That's a lot of threads to sift through without a search term :P

I have this image in my mind of trees at a not too distant horizon, I think even without leaves, blue skies, and definitely blurry

not sure how this thread started but there popped up quite a number of lovely plant names suitable for such pics,
