My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

sourcing doors from Alibaba

Anyone have any experience buying entry doors on Alibaba? I live in Los Angeles and looking to buy steel and glass French doors for my guesthouse remodel, but of course they’re at least $5K a piece. Alibaba has several Sellers selling for $1K a piece which is a steal. I’m assuming it’s risky considering the time and money wasted if it turns out shoddy. Curious to hear what others’ experience has been, if any.
