Using up leftover toile

This is the beginning of a quilt I'm making to use up the leftover toile from an earlier quilt. I saw a picture of it someplace online, and I drafted it on graph paper. I'm really pleased with how it is coming out. I may not get the top finished before I go in for back surgery at the end of this month, so I thought I'd post a picture of the progress so far.

Wow, that looks really nice, Lois! You could hand sew it together during recovery. Is that a 1/4" square of black at the intersection of the red in the window? Hope all goes well during your surgery and it does what it's supposed to do for you.

I love toile. Very Asian looking. Can't wait to see it complete. Blessings on your back surgery. I hope you are back to quilting quickly.

Good luck with your surgery, and speedy recovery.

I love the contrast thick and thin, dark and light. Of course red, white and black are classic.

Thanks, everyone. Sharon, the little black square is 1/2” square. Hand sewing isn’t for me. Maybe I’ll get some yarn to knit.

My close-up vision is kind of good.......TV is blurry and can't tell what the speed limit is. LOL
