There is no such thing as 2cm 1 1/4" quartz eased counter. You either have 2 cm (3/4") or 3cm (1 1/4").

It still doesn't make any sense. You can have a 2cm top or a 3 cm top. You can have a 2 cm top with a 2cm built up front edge for a 4cm appearance.

Well I didn’t get what I was expecting and now left with a real mess. Counters are too low for slide in range. Really disappointed.

Has your dishwasher made it in yet?

What do you actually have for the tops then? Post up a pic or two maybe Joseph or someone else has a solution to help you.

We had an install where the installers had to go back, have the granite removed, the base cabinets pulled, put in plywood to bring the finished height up what was needed for the slide in range, reinstall cabinets, reinstall sink. I really don’t understand why the manufacturers of slide in ranges don’t give a wider range of adjustability in height.

We have 2cm quartz now.

The previous counters were 1.25” laminate.

I assumed that a filler, leveller, or shim would have been added to account for the height difference as the quote indicated 1 1/4”.

Removing the counters and cabinets sounds like a huge $ ordeal!

I agree manufactures should provide some range to accommodate upgrades, however the provider of my counters should have identified there would be an issue.

It was a HUGE hassle. Couldn’t believe the customer came back to have a second kitchen installed by us.

This has been the most unprofessional experience I’ve experienced and they are taking zero responsibility! Every slab is damaged and we specifically asked about the height and they raised no concerns! Now they are saying they only look at the horizontal! Yet they are in great business of countertop replacement! I don’t get it!
