Soooo exciting!! I have only been able to catch a curtisii. Mine will be here Monday! I did finally catch Gardinos restock yesterday and got a lacunosa and a pusilla. Also did a purge on Facebook and got a Mathilde. She arrived today from So Cal. I love springtime!! Achoo Achoo. 🤧

Tika is doing some shoppin'! Woot woot. That Mathilde looks great. That one has been a real struggler for me. But I discovered it seems to like higher humidity. So if you can put it it in a cloche or something, it will be happier.

Tika, do you have an Ikea near you? They have a cloche for only $8. And it fits perfectly on a lid from some takeout containers as a base.

Meyermike: Yes! I have never been able to purchase anything previously from Logee's. They are always sold out. I'm pleased that what they sent is a good sized plant for the cost.

True and I have seen some at TJ Maxx / Homegoods. I don't love the ones that are for dolls because they don't have a handle on top. That doesn't bother some people but I like the handle so I can remove / replace with one hand rather than two. You could add a handle with some appropriate glue as well.

Since it has been a month, I thought I would give an update on this plant.

I did take a cutting off the very top several weeks ago, put it in damp perlite in a high humidity box and it's doing well. It has rooted and its long tendril has tons of aerial roots.

I potted up the rest in a chunky mix in a terracotta pot. I've been watching it decline steadily looking very parched. The leaves got progressively more dry, wilted, wrinkly and thin. This made me quite concerned. So I removed it from the pot today and put it in leca with water reservoir and if I can find a cloche big enough for it, I will probably put it in there for a while for increased humidity until it recovers. Hoping that it will.

Popmama, these plants are unbelievably resilient. I took a shriveled up stick of a vine, all the leaves had dried up and dropped off, put it in Leca in a super humid environment, and now I'm starting to see some signs of life, as in a tiny aerial root popping out.

I think once you give it lots of humidity, it will reward you with lots of new growth.
