Fireplaces Home Decorating Organizing the Home

living room decor delima for mantle and above tv

First pic is before we moved in. I’m overloaded with clutter from toys and constant picking up and really need something to pull room together for mantle and maybe above mantle to bring the eyes up. Candlesticks, vases? And of course the cords have to go. It’s a BEAUTIFUL home but I’m stuck on organization for storing toys and adding the right items to start with.

First choice would be adding an overmantle piece to the fireplace so the tv doesn’t look like it was an after thought. Second choice would be a larger tv to help fill up the space and get one that displays artwork in sleep mode. As far as toy storage, you may be able to have two square storage ottomans for toy storage.
