What medium should I use? I bought it like this and I'm new to plants... I'll take a picture of the roots. Yeah maybe the soil keeps too much water.

I have cactus soil. Will that do?

Those roots are too wet in my opinion.

Yes, agree with djacobz568sewi; the soil in your last pic looks sopping wet. Improve drainage - not all castus soil drains well. Add lots of sifted perlite. Let the plant air dry, and hopefully it will recover. If rotting, it may not. Water same as you would succulents - when soil dries up...

I changed the soil to cactus soil yesterday and today she seems to be doing better. Wharever was killing the leaves has stopped spreading. It really was because of too much water in the soil. And since it looked like she was drying out, I was adding more and more water thinking she didn't have enough. Of course it only made it worse...
