We had Leisure. Like the pool and they tell you about the materials they use etc which made us more comfortable. I think Latham may have better colors though. Also, if you get a spa please know it is NOT like a hot tub. We were disappointed. Good luck to you!

Hi, first we thought the spa would be like a hot tub. It is not. It has bubbles but not really pushing out large amount of water. It’s basically a nice seating area only. If you are looking for strong water flow from the vents you will be disappointed. Also the blue color on the top of the pool shell of the spa has faded due to sun. I would suggest to cover the pool ledge that goes around the spa with tiles.

Thursday Pools is the most advanced and innovative of the brands you mentioned, if you are still in the market for this project.

What did you end up going with and what was the cost?

In case you don't hear back from the OP, in-ground pools are rarely starting below $60,000 to $70,000 USD thses day, and if you want a large fiberglass pool, the shell alone could easily take up $30,000 of that cost.

San Juan also has great quality fiberglass shells.

having similar issues with a pool that developed cracks at the bottom shortly after being installed, do you have an email address so I can reach you and discuss your experience with Latham pools?

Our pool from Leisure developed cracks on the top ledge of the spa. I truly believe it was the installers fault though. Seemed like the ledge slopes downward. Anyway, Leisure sent someone to our house to buff the top layer and redo the colorant there. About 6-12 months later the cracks were back though. And although we had cracks it did not leak. We had the Icon. So our new house we installed a Latham pool. We did not add a spa this time. So no problems with this one.

The installer of our first pool had the pool in the ground and concrete finished within weeks of starting. Our 2nd installer let the pool sit filled for almost a month before concrete. Allowed us plenty of time to make sure the pool was good before pouring concrete.

Did your installer use gravel or sand for backfill? Sand moves and can cause issues. Hopefully you can figure it out quickly. I would start with the installer.
