Lol, I might be the last one who was hugging the deal at 11:57pm. The sale on this item could be a mistake, HD won't make any profit after shipping cost. I have one more small orchard added to my care. This new (old) place has hundreds of grape vines all over the place, I am not sure if I'd have any grapes though, vines are old, maybe over 100 years old like this place. This sale could be a sign of getting ready for helpers. But If it's not, I am one of the hoarders to buy 15 snippers. Lol

Our grape wood is so hard I needed bigger pruners for the wood. All the trimming needed, these would be perfect.

Sheila, I bought a battery operated saw for grape wood and small trees. Do you think I need to cut grape wood down to 2’-3’ this year? Will I have grapes this year if I cut them cut too much? No one had done anything to the land for at least 18 years per next door neighbors. Here are a couple photos of grape vines.

Used them yesterday to groom my small bed of Vinca major. These pruners are great for deadheading and other tasks involving accurate snipping of thin stems.

My best little deadheading clippers came from the Dollar Store. I know, crazy. I have had one pair for 4 years and they are still sharp . I grab a couple of pairs each year and I dont know why because the original pair still work. But they are perfect for deadheading

Summers, you could cut them to 3 ft and still get grapes.

Aren't they Sheila? I've just used them to prune some baby Loderi rhododendrons that just arrived. They are more useful than I thought! I'll probably use them for the tomato suckers this summer as well, if this spring's cold nights ever improve.
