I live in zone 6b in south central KY. We own almost 11 acres and probably about 8 acres of it is wooded. We have a lot of white pines, redbuds, dogwoods and poplar trees that grow wild.
I just took out my dogs for a walk along the edge of the woods and back about 10 ft into woods was this beautiful mass of color.
I have never seen these before and am having a hard time identifying it. Can you help?
