Looks like pear leaf blister mite.

whats the lowest temp at night since buds broke ,,, and can mites survive that???

i think i made it down in the 20s ... down here in tecumseh ... of course it was 80 also .. one afternoon .. crikey thats a swing ...

pretty sure mine bloomed last week .. saw it across the yard ... and i thought to myself.. its pretty early for fruit set ... though i have seen the bees around ...

anyway ... grandma had a 60 footer in her detroit yard .. dad had one in livonia.. and ive had them at both my houses ... thats near on 100 years of pears ... none were ever sprayed ... and they did just fine .. but then.. we werent producing pretty fruit for sale at the market..

im not sure there is anything you need do about this .. and you will probably have enough green bombs dropping on your head in october if you did nothing ...

sooo.. dont panic.. and dont over react ... talk to you local county extension office if you want local info ... and once you have edjumacated yourself.. if you wish to take action.. do so with knowledge ... and be careful ...
