Home Decorating Design Dilemma DIY

Ceiling decal pattern

I want to create a pattern on my ceiling with these Eyeglass Decals . I've seen tutorials to install decals on a wall but not the ceiling. I'm sure it's fairly similar but measuring out a pattern 1) on a ceiling that has 2) a hanging light fixture has its own particular issues. Any advice/links? Thanks!

I would like to see the idea you have in mind. You would probably just need to measure carefully and lightly pencil in where you want the decals to go then proceed like with any decal.
