I never thought about your comment and we have 8ft ceilings, here is a picture of the cabinet rendering where I am doing a hood. I don’t have the dimensions however the rendering is proportional to the range and fridge if this helps any. Our cabinets don’t come in until early May, then install a week or two later.

@alwayscold Thank you so much. My cabinet maker is going to design the hood for me very soon. However, I literally saw this pic in a thread about 8ft ceilings. And made my mind wonder since it is not the look I am going for. Didn’t know if the ceiling height was a cause.

I’m using an iPhone with Verizon. Not sure if that is why it is not there. Maybe the IOS app has not added the feature yet. Hopefully soon.

I type the @ if the name doesn’t pop up start typing their name.

I also have 8’ ceilings good to know a nice hood will work we just started our Ren

@Lauren - your hood is gorgeous. What did you use for an insert that allowed for the 8ft ceiling?

we almost done with our reno heres my vent hood with an 8ft ceiling we used a zline insert I wanted the GE but delivery wasn

t until September. My hood top is removable in case we ever need to get in there. The band around the hood matches my maple island.

@Becky H how does the hood attach? It is a cool feature.

It just sits on the lip of the opening it doesnt attach to the base of the hood. We use the trim piece in the middle to lift it on/off.
