wall oven vs double oven under the range?

Building a house that we will be selling in about 4 years and can't decide which is more desired a set of double wall ovens with a cook top, or a range with the double ovens under

Just sold a large suburban home with two wall ovens plus warmer drawer underneath, and a 48" cooktop in a separate location. I am 5'5" and the higher of the two ovens was always a death defying feat for me to prevent burns. I am in my mid 50s and am blessed with a good fitness level, so bending doesn't bother me. This time around we are moving into a more urban location where space is a premium and plan on going with the 60" range with double ovens beneath. It has the bonus of freeing up space for additional cabinet storage or the 30" full size wine cooler I am drooling over.
Good luck! At the end of the day, it's personal preference and individual space and budget constraints as well.

I'm a REALTOR; dbl ovens with a gas cooktop are more desirable.

I have a counter top stovetop and double ovens on the opposite wall. I prefer this as I have 2 separate spaces, one for cooking, one for bak ing and I entertain often. Makes things easier when I have lots of people over. Also, the oven stays clean when not inuse. It's more practical.

A cooktop unit separated from a double wall oven unit appears to be more 'high-end'.

I have a double oven under an electric range. The lower oven on this unit is so low to the floor it is very difficult to remove items without a deep knee bend. For me, a safety issue. I prefer a wall oven.

If I was building a home today and planned on selling in 4 years the answer is easy.
If your cabinet company is supplying an oven cabinet for the wall ovens ask them how much is the cabinet? After that $700 price shock for a useless cabinet ask the price difference between a free standing range and the cooktop plus the wall ovens you will find out this comparison is staggering.
Buyers typically spend about one minute in the kitchen as they tour the home. If decorated well and includes features like granite tops, stainless appliances, and pretty cabinets they go on to the next room. Wall ovens with separate cooktops do not sell houses but cost a lot more.

I like the double wall ovens with a separate cooktop. To me, it is just too hot to stand over a range and try to cook. Also, as a fairly tall person, I like having the ovens on the wall so I don't have to get down on my knees. A range would be a deal breaker for me in buying a house.
