I can only guess -- either your peach trees are taking a rest this year after producing a bumper crop last year, or a late freeze hit and damaged most of the buds before they bloomed.

A clear picture of a branch displaying the problem would help. The title says ‘no buds’ but the post says ‘very, very few blooms.‘ So there must be some buds. Do you mean that there are leaves but no flowers?
