I would not install it. Do you want to go thru the costs and hassles of replacing it in a year? An no I would not go to them for advice as they were the ones selling the crap to begin with. Suck it up and buy something else now.

You can see if your 'purchase' is part of the lawsuit and/or recall. The class actions will have a list of DATES it was manufacturer and or dates (start to finish) which the flooring was manufactured that has the recall/VOC issues.

You can then join the class action IF YOUR floor is inside that time frame. I'm not sure if it will be. I know these started BEFORE 2017...so I'm not sure if your purchase will fit inside the recall.

You have two choices. You can USE IT and hope for the best. Or you can sell it, cut your losses and keep going and find something else.

If you want to use Bamboo, please look at the BIG BOYS. They start at $8/sf for a traditional, solid nail-in-place bamboo. The GOOD stuff starts around $12/sf.

If that is well outside of your budget (it is for 90% of people...which is how we came to have CHEAP bamboo = horrible chemicals = recalls) then I suggest working with a high-end laminate for $4/sf.
