I'd think you'd not want to slide it in/out on any kind of regular basis as that could damage the gas line or electrical cord. They are not usually designed to be flexed frequently.

We've always been able to reach under ours w/ a vacuum. If that's difficult maybe find an attachment that will get under there for you.

Maybe try Super Sliders. We used them for sliding heavy things on hardwood floors. I think maybe you would need sliders on each leg of the range to move it easily.

To clean under our range I use an Oxo Good Grips under appliance duster.

Though they do not look particularly substantial, based on my Amazon history and time of purchase I believe I have these under the 6 legs of my 48" Bluestar and they have worked well for the few times I've needed to move it. However, I agree with others that I wouldn't want to do it for regular cleaning and it reminds me that I need to get a vacuum extension or other gadget for cleaning underneath.

There is something called 'appliance rails'. They are a set of tracks that sit on the floor and the feet of the appliance 'run' on them. They are about $30 - $45 per set.

Please pay attention to @opaone‘s comment above - you should not be moving your range around just to dust underneath. If your vacuum cleaner cannot get under there, use the Oxo Under Appliance Duster for $15. I have it, and love it. And it gets under the washing machine and dryer too. Here’s the link:

hmmmm...that would NEVER work in my house. I dont know if my vent/fan system is not big enough (i know it isnt) or what but my cupboards and everything feel kegged with grease and are gritty no matter how often i clean along with the floor and surrounding area around and underneath my range. Everything STICKS to the greasy gritty crap. I have to scrape with a putty knife under stove when i clean. I jsut moved my range to clean and had an entire dustpan full of crap. Scraped the crud off the floor and scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. My gas hose is pretty flexible it seems but i do just try and move it straight out and straight back. It is 400 lbs :(
