Clorox color load non chlorine bleach

Hello friends.... I just found this (new to me) product at Target and bought it. I really bought it for my daughter who has serious food stains from a 2 and 4 year old along with home builder husband Laundry stains. It is

peroxide based and says you can use it on white and colored clothing. She uses Tide detergent. Has anyone ever used this and can tell me if you liked it or not and if it works well?

I ask her tonight if she’s noticed a difference, if it’s helping. She said definitely! It’s taking spaghetti sauce stains out of the girls clothes. I have not seen the product at Walmart, I bought it at Target.... just FYI.

If she is JUST using Tide Liquid or Liquid Detergents in general, than she definitely will see a difference using this. Those detergents are (generally) Enzyme Based, and this will add Oxygen Bleach into the Mix.

With that said, I can't say I've used this product in general. Just Clorox 2 Liquid.

That's great Mimi. I've not seen that product before. I wonder how different it is from regular Clorox 2? I've not used that myself. My inlaws, long time ago, used to use Clorox 2 in every load. I never got on the bandwagon since their clothes and towels had musty/moldy odors. I figured it didn't work very well. They only washed laundry in cold with liquid detergent though. I turned them onto powder Wisk way back when, and that solved their musty odor problem (I never mentioned to them they had it), then powder Wisk went discontinued and they switched to liquid Wisk. The musty/moldy odor returned. I hope your dd continues to have good results with the new product.

I have a bottle from Winn Dixie. I'm not sure it does anything. I purchased for roomies problem drawers. I have since just done a heavy soil setting and a little spray of Shout. The Clorox Color Load is hydrogen peroxide based. I will take mine to laundromat for the folks who want it.

I stopped using Clorox 2 years ago and don't remember why. I regularly use 20 Mule Team and I am not even sure I believe it is making a big difference. Our most soiled laundry is always kitchen towels and dish rags which I wash with bath linens on hot, and the WH for the LR is turned up to scalding hot. I may have to experiment with these other Clorox products such as ColorLoad (what a name). I noticed on the bottle mud is one of the things it touts it is effective on, and that is another issue here with lots of landscaping going on.

Well I’m afraid the good results will go down hill fast since I noticed she bought a huge jug of Purex. I myself have used Purex in the past so I’m not bashing it by any means but her laundry is way too challenging for Purex to work.
