My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Metal or vinyl board and batten siding that approximates a wood look?

We are having trouble finding a board and batten wood look siding product. We have pretty much eliminated real wood, Hardie Cement Board and LP Smartside for a variety of reasons. Does anyone have personal experience with a metal or vinyl board and batten siding that simulates wood without seeming incredibly fake looking? We have a two story rustic home, with the first story made of stone. We don't know if either the metal or vinyl would lend itself to blending with the stone, but we are looking for a maintenance free option that seals tightly without a lot of extra time and money involved. Your input would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
