What is in the rest of the room. I prefer real art but that looks nice and you could always hang a painting on it

I have a tall grey channel stitch upholstered bed and nightstands that are same as the dresser with lamps on them. An area rug underneath the bed to define the space. So do you like the look with or without the the wall art?

If you want a really minimalist look, remove the wall decor, vases and photos. Hang the mirrors up. Use fresh flowers seasonally.

We need to see the other part of the room. Do you have any artwork over the bed? If you do, I would just use the mirrors over the dressers with nothing else. If you don't have art on the other wall, use art over the dressers instead. Maybe the mirrors can be used behind your lamps on the bed side tables. The dressers look a little disconnected to me. I might move them slightly father apart, and place a simple upholstered bench between them. If you did that, you could put vertical art over the bench seat instead of the dressers.

Calidesigns ideas are perfecto. Love the idea of putting a bench between the dressers. And having those 2 art pieces side by side above the bench. Mirrors would be cool over each side table. But can’t say for sure without seeing.

That’s a lot of symmetry . Have you considered pushing the 2 dressers together and hanging a piece of art? You wouldn’t need to use all the vases shown.

Thank you...ratherbesewing. Never thought about it, I purchase two dresses because I wanted the separation of my husband and mine dresser... kind of like our separate vanities in our master bathroom. But it definitely something to think about.

If you push the dressers together, try hanging one mirror over them to cover the switch plate covers. Or, as suggested, one large piece of art. And then use the mirrors behind the bedside tables, as suggested.

I agree with @ptreckel Push the two dressers together and lose the long, narrow wall art. Then hang a large, modern painting with colors that work with your dresser and bed/bedding. Use a simple museum-style frame.

The dressers are beautiful but at the moment the space is reading more as emptyish unsettled space rather than intentional minimalism.

The wall art is too busy for minimalist, IMO, and conflicts with the headboard.

Hello, here are the additional photos of master bedroom for those who ask to see more of the room. I have also decided to take the ideas of many to push dressers together. I’m including a photo of what that looks like as well. Any idea what kind of wall art/mirror to hang over dressers now that they are together. Please keep in mind that I’m trying to create a minimalist design. Last photo is to show rug underneath bed. Thank you.

Everything is symmetrical. You might try and hang one piece of large, abstract (think black and white or tonal with either a thin black frame or stretched canvas) offset above the dressers. Just so that it covers the switch plate covers. Minimal pillows on the bed. And at most a simple blanket in gray tones at the foot of the bed. Perhaps a modern, more sleek ceiling fan with light above the bed. In brushed nickel, with modern blades.

Ptreckel what do you think about the two gold frame mirrors in first picture should I nix these as well?

Not necessarily. Have you tried them behind the two night stands as was suggested? Or are they too large? Or...perhaps place the one mirror over your dressers. But I would try it off center. That way, you can place something organic, perhaps a plant, on the right side of the dresser. Minimalist doesn’t necessarily mean symmetrical, or sterile. Your room needs some “life” to it. A beautiful, sculptural pot (black or white ceramic) with a striking plant in it would add that, I think. I am sure others will suggest other items. But try to use what you have...

Whatever you hang there, use caution when penetrating the wall- those junction boxes suggest live wiring in that area.

Not a mirror because you've got a blank wall on the other side. I'd look for one large piece of horizontal art, framed very simply, just shorter than the 2 dressers together. Look for neutral colors with some type horizontal line so you keep the serene and minimalist vibe.

Minimalist. Forget the art and go with plants. Buy a mixed size of planters to fill the space

Just a few inches less wide than the length of the dressers for the size of the artwork. Please don't paint your headboard wall dark gray. You will lose the contrast and texture of your beautiful headboard.
