Recessed Lights (Electrical Issue)

last modified: 5 years ago

I made a careless mistake in the process of replacing a light switch in my kitchen. I cut the power prior to replacing, but turned it back on before the final steps. The screwdriver made contact on the side which tripped the circuit and fried the switch. I installed a new switch, the lights are not functioning properly though. I swapped a few of the exact lights from my living room to confirm the lights were not faulty. It requires two flicks of the switch to get all 3 lights to illuminate. I’m no longer able to connect with them via WiFi to make adjustments. In addition to a buzzing sound from one of the lights.

I was hoping someone might be able to offer some insight. Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers.
