Oven Safe Over Floor Air Vent?

We are looking to change the layout of our kitchen & buy a induction or electric range.
Design problem: we have forced air
(A/C & furnace) air vents in the floor.
Could a slide-in induction or electric range be placed safely over a floor air vent? (Option 2)
Or could a cabinet oven & cooktop be used, as long as there was a base cabinet surrounding the oven?
Or is it best to avoid & just place a non-appliance base cabinet over air vent? (Option 1)
I have always avoided & kept air vents free from appliances, but a contractor told me we could put a slide-n range directly over. This made me extra nervous as there is no box to protect the range.
So coming to you all for your expertise!

Either way, you'll have to move the floor vent. Ask your contractor if he can re-route the vent to be a toe-kick vent on the other side of the peninsula. Like this:

Your local HVAC can move the floor vent - make sure the feed line to the vent is direct, not just into the void beneath the cabinet.

Fire the contractor who was just going to put the stove over the vent (if that’s what he really meant)

Will definitely have air vent extended out through the toekick.

Will nix slide-in oven directly over vent. Definitely didn't feel like safe with that advice.

Question: could a built-in oven with a cabinet 4" off the ground go safely over the vent if floor vent is extended out through the toekick?

Yes but built in ovens have lots of extra costs- you have to buy a cabinet, you have to buy the counter in that whole area (unless it goes all the way back) and you have to buy the appliance itself and you usually have few choices. Freestanding and move the register will probably be cheaper.
