the leg is from timberwolf forest products , the number is ISL-TW1-MA , we also used a beaded skirting around the leg area

Would the frame section at the top be needed to support a quartz worktop or would a unit at one end and then two legs at the other end be sufficient?

You would need to speak to your supplier but in my experience its needed to support the legs and to tie everything together , we also have a framework of supports that aren't visible and its all done to make everything really sturdy , if you just have the legs with no skirting it will be hard to install them and ensure that they are secured properly

Thanks, the other thing I’ve realised today is that wooden legs will be more difficult to use with quartz as they can’t be adjusted so would have to fit perfectly. It’s a shame though as they look so much nicer than the metal legs ....

yes they need to be trimmed to fit onsite , but a good craftsman can easily do it and is typically not an issue , or you add baseboard to the bottom so you can trim it short and shim it up and then cover with baseboard
