Best brand of brass drawer pulls and knobs??

I'm researching brands of kitchen drawer pulls and knobs for brass hardware. What is best, most durable brand? I love Rejuvenation Hardware don't want to spend that much on hardware. I was thinking Emtek, Top Knobs, Schaub......but when I go on sites to view reviews some people say the brass wears off after a couple of years. That's definitely concerning for me. So, any advice for good quality mid priced brass hardware would be greatly appreciated. And if I just need to go with nickel or chrome just to make sure I have no rubbing off or scratching issues I can live with that too.

I'm doing white cabinets, white quartz countertops with subtle gray veining , light gray tile floors, and white subway tile backsplash. I thought brass hardware and lighting would help add some contrast in an otherwise all white and gray kitchen.

The Kitchen Place - thank you for the pics, the satin bronze is lovely. I will definitely look into that line.

mark1993 - good to know you like the Emtek Alexander. I'm trying to stay in that transitional style and think its a good mix of modern and traditional styling that will hopefully last me through the years.

nhb22 - I saw those, the base has a nice detailing. I've heard great things about top knobs.

Cabinets are going in today & tomorrow, then cabinet doors! Now to just wait on the doors next week so I can figure out what size pulls to order!

Take a look at Hardware Resources "Jeffrey Alexander Series" and their SBZ finish....called Satin Bronze. Looks a lot like matte brass but more subtle (less yellowy) and I'm selling a lot of it!

I love my Schaub hardware! My pulls and knobs are Michelangelo Bronze but when I do the kitchen in our new home I will use Schaub hardware in brass.

Schaub hardware can be more than Rejuvenation, depending on the line/finish.

Thanks all, I went to a showroom today and found that Emtek, Schaub, and Top Knobs aged brass is very similar looking. The salesperson said they are all similar quality (brass overlay on lead or some other type of metal) and really which one I pick would prolly depend on delivery times more than anything. I am looking at the Emtek Alexander, Top Knobs Ascendra, or Schaub Menlo Park. They all look the same so hard to pick one brand!

I recently got THESE through my cabinet designer. She says that they go well with the champagne bronze faucets that I will have in my kitchen and she sells this Top Knob brand quite a bit.
