If you can pot them up now, they will have two weeks to grow even bigger, plus you will have some leeway in case the weather isn't so nice in two-weeks time! I'm also planning to plant on the long weekend, although the experts say it's best to wait until June 1. The long-term weather forecast will really help :).

That's what I did when my babies grew bigger than the weather allowed. I ususally throw away the plastic pots, but for some reason I saved a few. Glad I did. And, yes, plant them deeper so they can develope a bigger root system off the stem.
