My neighbor across the street from me has a lot of weeds in his front yard, mainly dandelions. He mows his lawn regularly with a mulching lawnmower, but refuses to use a basket because he says that would defeat the purpose of a mulching mower. I have two questions: 1) wouldn't he be increasing the amount of weeds over time, because he just keeps adding new generations of weed clippings to old? and 2) he is open to applying weed treatments to his lawn himself. Do you have suggestions about good weed pellets or sprays to apply? We live in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you!
