Stone/Exterior Paint Color

Looking for suggestions. The stone we picked doesn’t match what we expected and now looking for an alternative paint color from what we picked out. First pictures are our home and last picture was our vision (as you can see stone turned our way more red/orange than I would have expected and not sure how it would go with the paint color). Thank you

Try living with it for a while if the first pictures are recent. If the last picture was your vision and you picked what you did what color you select to have painted will not be the right one. Since that type of veneer can be replaced it may be cheaper to replace with what you want although it will not go with your paint that to have it painted. That type of material would need several coats of paint and because of the shape of the pieces will never match your dream color nor the veneer on the last picture.

I love the last pic, house from JulialovesChris. your house is more of an orangey taupe shade is gray what you want?

how about a veneer in this shade but with cleaner lines.

The stone matching what we expected is a long story. With that being said... Not wanting to replace or paint the stone either (brand new construction and just not what we want to do). Need to find a paint color to look good with the stone and looking for paint color suggestions ;)

To compliment your veneer you can always do tones like silver fox, Pebble Stone or Universal Khaki from Benjamin Moore

Stay with what you have…it isn’t bad at all. I don’t like the white garage doors. Paint them a dark charcoal…something close to the roof.

That silver Fox is a good thought. The current color and garage is just the siding and white garage door.

my suggestions for the paint is only for the house not the veneers. If you want to go lighter to keep the white garage doors you can do Glacier White but get samples first
