LVP Layout Questions

Several years ago I installed Mannington Adura Max in our basement. It was easy to install, looks nice, and has held up incredibly well. Now we're looking to replace all the flooring on the main level of the house with Audra Apex. I just had a couple questions I was hoping to get advice on.

1. What direction should we lay out the planks? We currently have wood floors in just the foyer/hall, which are laid out in a horizontal fashion so they run parrallel to the front door. Am I right in assuming we likely would want to install the LVP floors in the same direction? The front of our house faces towards the southwest, and most of our windows are at the front and back of the house.

2. Where should we have transitions? I know we'll want a end cap transition piece by the sliding glass door. Since the whole floor will be done in the same materialis there any reason to use t-molding anywhere else? The whole floor other than the bathroom and laundry, are essentially open. Would it be good to use t-molding under the doors to those rooms? Mannington says open room area shouldn't exceed 50 liner feet or 2,500 sqft, so it sounds like we won't need any from a technical perspective.
