Heating & Air Conditioning Design Dilemma

Quiet but effective A/C

Hi,

I need help finding the best quiet but great A/C that will cool 600 sq ft space. Including a small bedroom with no windows and bathroom. I can't think of a perfect solution as it always feels warm, but will probably use fans to get air circulating. Thank you!

The bedroom needs two means of egress (for fire safety) to be a legal bedroom in most areas. If it doesn't have them now, this would be a good time to add a couple windows, including one for a new window a/c unit. See a local HVAC contractor to find out some good options for your climate.

Exactly. I had same reaction, any legal bedroom needs to have at least a window and putting in air conditioning won't rectify that deficiency.

I also have never heard of a bathroom and bedroom not having a window. I agree to install windows first. I have a LG portable air conditioner that I love; model # LP1020WSR.
