I don't think the comment was completely inane, she did compliment the wall design. Just shake it off, you're going to get good and bad comments. I wouldn't post anything if I was afraid to potentially get negative feedback. Isn't this why people post -- to get feedback? If I saw something I didn't like, I might comment on it, this isn't merely a self-adulation website, you may receive unflattering comments. And if your daughter sees it, let her know not everyone loves everything, but that her sister loves it is enough.

Hi @koolbeans, you should be all set. In the future, feel free to email these complaints to support@houzz(dot)com if you feel that someone is writing intentionally hateful comments on your images. We don't delete them, but it doesn't need to show up on your photo page:)

@lisaodonnell: Thanks for the education. I have been posting on home decor sites for a few years now. Do you really think that I have never had criticism of my postings? My point was that I don't really need to know that someone "hates" anything much less hates artwork that was painted by my 10 year old. I did not want to see it on my post either - my post, my prerogative, therefore I wanted to know how I could delete it from my page.
