I'm installing recessed LDE lights for my new house. I plan to use gimbal for sloped ceiling and normal for flat ceiling. HALO is the brand I'm choosing:

The gimbal one has 600 lumens, while the flat one has a 600 version and 900 version. If I could I'd use 900 throughout, but since the gimbal one has only 600 lumens I am wondering if I should stick to the same lumens.

My ceiling is 9' overall, with the living room much higher (10-16' sloped). The two kinds of lights are typically controlled by different dimmer switches, so if I wanted I could keep the brightness similar by dimming, but I just wonder what others think, especially in the public area where they are visible together. For example, while the kitchen and TV area have sloped ceiling, the adjacent dining room has flat ceiling. Some bedrooms have sloped ceiling but one light at the entry with flat ceiling.
