I believe it's Prenanthes, though it may have a new name like Nabulus.

I don't think that is what is. I found some that was a little more mature and will get back later with more pictures. I think that it might be a spring time ephemeral.

There was a lot of good information at the link Carol posted. I'll keep an eye on it and get more pictures as it matures.

A picture of the plant in situ would be helpful.

I don't believe there is any other species in the world with leaves like that, except Nabalus albus. I thought it was a nice low growing plant with arum type leaves that I could use at the front of a border, and wow was I surprised, when it grew a thick stem that bolted to 3 feet, so its a chameleon plant that fools people. A picture would help.
