Yeah.....Houzz didn't consider that. I have tried and I can't. I suppose you could delete your account and change your name and password and satrt anew....but....what a pain!

Thank you. I just wanted to change my interest in begonias to hyacinths since I had misidentified my plant, and a kind person on here correctly identified it for me, thank goodness! Sure wish I could change it. Sheesh.

but did you try the YOUR HOUZZ tab in the upper right???

i dont know how active those two forums might be.. but you might enjoy the broader categories of perennials and/or annuals ... if they fail to have activity ...

on my laptop.. is use bookmarks ... for each of the forums i like ....

I honestly don’t think listing your interests will make any difference to your user experience. It isn’t possible on the website version and I can’t say I’ve ever missed it. I’ve never wanted to find out anyone else's interests by looking at their profile. One’s interests and/or expertise are clear from which forums one frequents and the content of one’s posts.

There’s a Bulbs Forum if you want information about hyacinths. There’s no Hyacinths Forum because that would be a very tiny and limited niche. There is a Begonias Forum because that’s a huge field. They’re incredibly varied and widely collected.

ETA I’ve looked at your Begonia post and your plant is a Hibiscus, not a Hyacinth. Very different. There is a Hibiscus Forum.
