You're right, it is more of a taupe.

Also, it's the white front door that I want to paint, not the garage doors (they're pretty new).

Thanks for all the feedback so far! I just don't know if it's too monochrome and a pop of color would be good.

Great place. Here are some colors that would look great on your door. In addition, I would add garage trellises and a pergola over the front door and some patio/sitting areas on each side. I would do the trellis and pergola in an off white.

I feel that either the SW Lusty Red or SW Antique Red would be very nice and it goes well with the taupe color of the house. I feel like the blues kind of fade into the background. Either red would be the best fit as it brings your attention to the front door without being to much in the face.

The Inchyra Blue, Inky Blue and Reflecting Pool are all nice.

Trellis and pergola suggestion from Lisa is nice, too.

Love the Armagnac, too. Like the Trellis and pergola suggestion.
