Are the cabs currently wood? old? who is painting them?

what kind of furniture is in there?

I'd prob just do a simple white on the walls or something like BM Calm, white cabs, and accessorize w/bolder colors in art, pillows, etc

Thanks Beth. Still under construction, so no pictures of the interior. Thanks for posting those pictures. I attached the building plan below.

The cabinets are all new and basic builder cabinets (unfinished from Lowe's). I have yet to purchase furniture, but will be going to look tomorrow... was hoping to decide paint colors first just to be sure it doesn't clash.

I forgot to mention the countertop will be wood (not necessarily stained this color)

so, unfinished shaker style? and you're going to paint them?

why not by-pass that and get Ikea cabinets? less work. shouldn't be too much more. You don't have a large space to do, so I'd spend the money on the Ikea. make sure to do more drawers on the lowers.

this one would be perfect w/your tiles and the butcher block. you could do white on top

or, just do somethink like this, w/a pre-fab white quartz countertop

John, this USA cabinet place has about 5-6 choices in that blue shade. They're all wood, no sales tax. maybe see if you can get these sooner?
