Not sure, depends where in FL you're located. I'm @ west central Gulf coast and the only tomato I ever grew that produced in the summer was Matt's Wild cherry. I understand that once night time temp.s go above 75F, tomato blossoms will no longer set fruit.

timetraveler, I'm not sure about that particular variety, but I see that it's determinate, which means it will reach a certain size and then die, sort of like a patio tomato. There are a lot of tomatoes that were bred to bear in Florida's hot summers, but I've never heard anything good about them. Mostly, I hear that the fruits are tasteless and mealy. I tried growing Homestead, but it did nothing and died quickly.

"Solar Fire" was bred by UF to bear in the summer, but I've never tried it. I've heard of people growing "Florida 91, " another heat-tolerant variety, with some success.

Most of us just stick to cherry tomatoes in the summer. I like the larger ones, like "Husky Cherry Red." I love the native "Everglades" variety, which has tiny little sweet fruits that grow in such abundance that one bush is enough for two people. I have one that has fruits right now, so if you want to try them, message me your address and I'll send you some fresh seeds.

I put in a Heat Master tomato plant in early August 2020. It began producing in late November and provided us with the best tomatoes we've eaten since moving to Florida 17 years ago. Then in early May, it suddenly died. I was hoping to plant another one (if I could find a plant) in May this year so that it might produce earlier in the fall. I grow Everglades tomatoes also. They reseed themselves in different places every year. Too bad for my DH that he doesn't like them; I have to eat them all :-)

I call Everglades my "garden candy." I want some Matt's Wild Cherry tomatoes too, so I can compare the two.
