This is what the leaves from beining of spring look like

this is the new growth from the past week or so

It looks like TS to me, Brandon. TS’s flowers can vary a LOT—from quite fluffy and mostly covering the stamens to fully double with visible stamens. Sometimes TS is deep velvet wine-red. Sometimes it’s plum-purple with magenta highlights. Sometimes the blooms look a bit like Indigo in its fluffier mood. The foliage varies according to weather and age. I’ll see if I can dig up some pics of variance on mine. A lot of my photos are pre cloud space on my old computer, so it may take awhile to find one. I’m getting vaccine #2 today, so time will tell if I’m flattened for the weekend or able to geek out on old roses while hanging out on the couch. Carol

I do understand that the old garden roses have a lot of variances to them. I just got concerned and was hoping for a confirmation of identity
