Will this leak?

The grout in our newly installed bathroom was crumbling / cracking and we decided to fix ourselves.

It took a few tries but I finally did a decent job of caulking the line where the tub meets the shower wall.

The only trouble is that in some places the bottom of the caulk isn’t fully flush with the tub. It peeled up when I took the tape off.

Does this indicate it’s not fully sealed? I’m hoping the caulk filled the hole and this is just a cosmetic blip I can live with but want to make sure.

If you're saying there's a ridge on the bottom bit of caulk, but it's well adhered to the tub, you'll be fine.

If you're saying there's still a gap between the tub and caulk line, you'll need to remedy. Silicone won't stick if there's any moisture, so I'd suspect either 1. there's moisture in the joint or 2. you cleaned it up and didn't wait long enough for it to dry.

Ironically, silicone relies on the humidity in the air to cure..

yes and no actually one must apply silicone to a perfectly clean and 100% DRY surface once the proper bead is place and spanned the joint fully yes we do then use a spray mixture OVER the silicone, but joe knows this already 🤺🤺
