We purchased model #fpru19f8rfc frigidaire professional all refrigerator in 2017.

within two years it was freezing our food. They replaced the thermister and the control board and fixed the problem.

Earlier this year (2021) itcstarted freezing again. Service man tested and thermister was fine. So only replaced control panel. Didn’t fix so they thought the part was bad.

Waited a couple months for replacement control board because it was on back order.

replaced it and still freezing food. Service man contacted manufacturer and was told that even though the thermister tested fine, both parts had to be replaced together.

A mibth later, both replaced. Its still freezing our food. Service man said he doesn’t know what else to do.

This fridge is just now barely 4 years old. Is this what we are to expect from appliances these days?!

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

i truly though this ”professional” set would last much longer. Now it seems to be discontinued. even if we had the money to replace it i dont know what to do. The freezer works fine.
