This is a weird hosta, I thihk. Maybe it sported or reverted from another hosta---and that's why we can't figure it out.

Apparently they bought it a few years ago, from Loblaws garden centre. Loblaws is a grocery store that opens up a garden center outdoors in spring until July.

Honey Pie? Or just Honeybells?

It does look like Honeybells......isn’t HB a fragrant one. If so then bloom time may tell. Tho, Honey Pie, if if relarelated will be fragrant too? There is only one photo in th HL of HP so it is hard to say. Maybe someone has it and can post.

My Honey Pie/Bear is a really unique green for a Hosta. Hard to tell from pic.

UTOG and indianagardengirl, I think you must have the correct ID! Your picture, indianagardengirl, looks very much like my friend's hosta! I will ask her to check for fragrance and color flower when it comes out.

I don't think the hosta is going to be Honey Pie---too new---and I have never seen one for sale at a big box store or temporary garden centre around here.

Steve, your Honey Pie is pretty! Of course, you would be the one to have one! LOL

Steve, honey pie has only one in the HL and yours is bigger. send the HL a-pic so there is more than one.
