what cabinet color goes with Cambria Kendal?

Starting to put together a kitchen in our new construction house! I think I want creamy white cabinets with Cambria Kendal quartz. Maybe paint/stain island a different color. So many choices! How and where do I start?

Responders will want to see a picture of Cambria Kendal so please post one. I went to look it up and it's pretty. Have you looked up Houzz pictures with Cambria Kendall or other discussions?

Cambria Kendal was released in April 2021 so not a lot of photos out there yet....
This is a photo of my sample- Cambria describes it as “Fine black crackling veins traverse a field of subtle, soft teal and swirling white. Radiant opalescent crystal suggest depth within the greater feelings of smoothness”

What will the balance of the rooms colors be? Flooring? Walls? Natural light? You do not pick tops and cabinet colors in a vacuum.

That’s kinda my problem! Where do I start? Do I pick one thing (flooring/cabinets/walls/etc) and then build on that? What one thing should I start with? I’m thinking mostly a neutral pallette but yikes there is a lot of colors in neutral!

Here's the picture I found online and the colors from it. I think sage green cabinets a wood floor black cup pulls and a wood color floor would be great.

Finding pictures of the things you really like in different kitchen will help you figure out a design or of your favorite things you've seen to create a mood board look .

I would definitely want to see the slab first.

Have you picked any either finishes in the house? What style house is it?

Nothing has been picked yet...Everywhere I go they try to push Craftsman; but I’m going with the more Traditional style...
I do want neutral colors but I’m having a hard time picking something to start with.

This is a very colorful slab if you are wanting to stay neutral. I would go to a local place where you can view the slabs keeping to whites with tan, grey, black veining or mostly white. It should be something that goes with any other colors to be a true neutral. Similar to a lot of the ones in your ideabook. You can easily change out accents and wall colors to change the color of the room without a remodel. A butcher block island top adds warmth to the white kitchen along with wood floors and accents.

I'm a big fan of Kendal, too. It's at the top of my list for counters. Kraftmaid makes cabinets in a color called Serenity which is a strong possibility I'm considering.

If you havent decided yet, Cambrias website has a paint match tool to match with Benjamin Moore colors. https://www.cambriausa.com/paint-match/#!/designs/kendal/paintCode/?paintKey=2136-40&searchInput=kendal&searchSource=PaintMatchToolSearch

I'm in the process of a kitchen renovation and decided on the kendal cambria countertops, white shaker cabinets and antique java bamboo floors. Now time to decide on the faucet, hardware and pendants over the penisula. I'm excited and nervous as this is the first time I've done this. For the faucet and hardware I'm thinking bronze but with the black veining, maybe I'll go with black?

Did you put in backsplash tile? I have white shaker cabinets and the very same counter as yours but struggle with the backsplash tile color.

What did you end up doing?
