Looks quite good. Hopefully, you have 30" or less from porch floor to grade below. If it is more a handrail is required by code. Am guessing if you got the job permitted an inspector would have noted that on his inspection.

Looks great! Can you share both the before and after post dimensions AND your white paint color? Did you wrap the posts - they are thicker, right?? Also curious about the "before" paint color.

(We are painting our house white and adding a columned porch this summer. Supposedly.)

@barncatz Yes, we wrapped the former posts. I do not know the before but now they are 8 inches. I believe they added two inches to the overalll thickness. The former paint color was called a custom color called brown grey. Lol. New color is BM white dove with SW tricorn black. Hope this helps!
