Layout advice please

This is current layout of my kitchen. We are considering replacing the wall oven and cooktop with a range and hood. I would like people to advise me on where they would place the range in this layout. Kitchen is completely demo so anything is possible. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all

It looks like you wouldn't have enough room to open the door on a stove safely.

Interesting. Didn't think about that. Does anyone think the range could go to the right of the sink instead?

This made me think of your kitchen.
Take out the pantry closet, maybe more the room door over a bit to the left and add pantry cabinets across from the sink along the wall with fridge.
Refinish your walls and ceiling to be flat and not textured.
    Add drawers for lowers.
    Consider cabinet depth fridge.
Get rid of desk area and add beverage/coffee bar.
Decide if you want seating at island, if not can do half cabinets on back for storage and take away some uppers to have a more open feel.
    Good luck!

That's great feedback thank you. We were already thinking about getting rid of the upper cabinets for a more open feel it was nice to hear that confirmation from you. Any thoughts on where the range should go?

How can we tell if a range will fit (anywhere), if we don't have measurements? If you want advice, take the time to provide the info we need.

Why are you looking to replace your wall ovens and cook top? You can probably add a range and hood where you currently have the cook top, especially if you move the room door over a bit to the left.

I personally love our wall ovens and will probably never go back to a range.

I don't really know why I want a range. I guess I felt it looked more modern and current. And I assumed that it was more desirable. Maybe I'm wrong however and need to research that more. Thank you

Unless you are venturing into professional ranges, I would argue most people think a cooktop with wall ovens is more desirable. If you want a range get a range.
Post a measured floorplan if you want any worthwhile advice.

I agree, unless you are going with a professional range, most aren't very modern looking. You could open your debate to keeping a gas cook top or switching to induction. Either way having a proper hood over the cooking area even with windows close by would help.
    Good luck!
