Don't know if this is like the one you misplaced, but it's an excellent tool. I just bought a "traditional Japanese weeding sickle" Mine is from Growtech.com (per label) but there many on the market from different retailers. It can get into tight places near other plants, go under a plants roots and lift them out, cut a swath through a lot of weeds and get into cracks between bricks.

Weeded for over an hour with very little pain afterwards. That's unusual.

The wooden handle is 4.5 ". I wish it was just 1 or 2 " longer. Although the wood handle is comfortable, a piece of slit foam over the handle would increase it's comfort even more.

It is dangerously sharp. You would not want to grab the wrong end from a bag of gardening tools.

Marie - have not use the sickle before. What i liked about the triangle how is that i could also use it to dig a hole to plant as well, smaller plants but thanks for the info on it.
