We moved into a home built in 1931. Part of the reason I loved the home is because it has the original wood windows. Unfortunately, I found lead on the windows themselves and the sills. We have two young children (toddler and infant). Originally the plan was to refinish the windows, get them in working order, and get new storms, however finding someone to do this has been impossible (and I am not comfortable doing this nor do I have the time). We have now been tossing around the idea of new windows (Pella architect series ?).

Thoughts? Suggestions?
