It seems ok to me for what I assume is a young BB plant. As the berries get plump and heavy I'd place a Y shaped tree branch (or similar support) under the BB branches to keep them off the ground. Happy Harvest!

The plant is about 4 years old or more. Thanks, the different color of leaves and almost no leaves on fruit branches seemed odd but this is my first blueberry experience.

Your blueberry looks fine, I have a lot of bushes and they look similar to yours. I am out here in western Oregon and we grow a lot of blueberries! I would just advise you to fertilize with an acid fertilizer, like ammonium sulfate or urea (carefully). This is something I learned when ours weren't doing as well as they should have been. Water and mulch plus fertilizer and they will thrive for many years. We have some that were mature when we got them 40 years ago, they are beginning to fade, but still producing.

It looks like it's planted right under a tree, on top of tree roots.

How much sun is it getting? Are you fertilizing it? The soil under trees is often dry and depleted -- are you providing water and fertilizer?

It is not getting a ton of sun but around 6 hours direct light and a lot of indirect light. I fertilize it and have worked to make the soil more acidic. It is not acidic enough yet but a lot better then it was.

Our 3 BB bushes are about 18 years old now and about 6' high. Every year in the late fall after the leaves have dropped I'll sprinkle a few handfuls of elemental sulfur between them and around the perimeter. These bushes are out in the open and during the summer get about 9-10 hours of direct sunlight. VgQn freezes the bulk of them for pancakes, muffins, etc and she makes jam out of the rest. Plus they are great fresh picked with a bowl of cereal.
