Right when you talk in our home we have this large high alcove. Thinking about adding shelves? Looking for suggestions on what to do! Kind of an interesting shape

A tall glass vase that glows when you turn the spot light on (unless you're in earthquake country).

Lucky you since there's a plug. Get a long, oblong lamp, which will make a nice, friendly addition to your entryway. I must say, though, I can't figure out why builders stick these odd nooks here and there.
