i dont understand .. the seed leaves yellowed.. and it worries you ... ignore such ... transplant shock ...

ps: the first leaves are green in the pic.. its the seed leaves .. and their job is done ...

It might be that residual snow or is that a salt block next to it ;-)

But seriously, if the next 2 leaves turn yellow then something is definitely up. Enough direct sun during the day?

I've had my okra turn yellow from too much rain down here in oklahoma this spring. I'm gonna plant another row of okra just in case before it's too late for okra to produce.

That creeping bean vine is really attracted to that salt lick.

It is actually a piece of granite to step on not salt. We actually had a dry spell and this was not a transplant I planted a seed there. Okra grew great there last year for the first time. They died and fell off really quick. If it is seed leaves the other ones are still perfectly fine planted at the same time and larger - days later not a hint of yellow.

So it is not rain, water, salt or seed leaves dyeing.

I am perplexed!

Okra is susceptible to root knot nematodes. If they give up on you check the roots.
