A few more blooms!

A few more blooms the past day or so. Alot of my daylilies are confused about bloom time this season, im starting to wonder if i will have any lates, Reindeer Antlers has scapes now!

Little Jetsetter and Purple Maze had first blooms today, no perfect flowers today, we had early morning wind and a rain tease, 1/8” in the gauge.

Here is my first nloom on Spectral Elegance, it didnt fully open. I am perplexed with this daylily. It has 5 way branching and 20-25 buds per scape but every season it suffers from bud drop. It has lost 25% of its buds every season since it was added here. It is an evergreen in an ideal spot. I am torn about keeping it.

Here are two clematis blooming now, Jackmanii and Huldine.

Just beautiful Clematis. I like seeing Jackmanii again. It's got a good reputation with cause. I wish we could grow Clematis better in our climate. Trouble is the foliage just looks ghastly most years by August. I've grown sweet Autumn Clematis, and the foliage held it's green very well, but it reseeds all over the place..................Your daylilies are nice too. I've got Little Jetsetter on my long list. I always like seeing it.............Maryl

Interesting color on Purple Maze. I always love clematis in the garden and yours are spectacular.

Wow! You are the queen of the Clematis. I wish mine would grow that well. Little Jet Setter and Purple Maze look good. A lot of my daylilies are blooming at the wrong time too.
